On Saturday, Slurpee fans will have the chance to express themselves like never before. It's called Bring Your Own Cup Day, and it's about to take the country by storm.

You bring the cup, they fill it up.

For one day from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., 7-Eleven is inviting fans all across the country to bring (almost) any cup they like (as long as it fits in the 10-inch cutout in store) and fill it with their favorite Slurpee drink.

Bring your choice of the craziest Slurpee cup. From sand buckets to tea kettles to trophies, Slurpee lovers can choose the way they load up on the frozen refreshment for $1.49 per cup, the average cost of a medium Slurpee drink.

The cups must be clean, leak-proof, have a definite shape and must pass through the designated 10-inch cutout in the store.

To join in on the fun, upload a photo on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #BYOCupDay.

Bring your carafes, beakers, goblets, jars or anything else that could even remotely be considered a cup to a 7-Eleven store Saturday.

Trash cans and inflatable swimming pools are not eligible.

This is the first time BYO Cup Day has been held in the United States, although 7-Eleven stores in Australia, Canada, the Philippines and Malaysia have held BYO Cup Days in the past.

Slurpee drinks purchased during BYO Cup Day will count as a punch on 7Rewards - the store's buy-six-get-the-7th-drink-free loyalty program. The program includes 7-Eleven coffee and its other hot beverages, plus Big Gulp, Slurpee and Chillers drinks. If a customer already has six digital punches on their rewards card, they can redeem their free 7th drink at BYO Cup Day.

7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses nearly 10,500 7-Eleven stores in North America. Globally, there are more than 55,400 7-Eleven stores in 16 countries.
