PLYMOUTH MEETING., Pa. (WPVI) -- A motorcyclist is hospitalized after leading police on a chase in Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County.
The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police say the motorcyclist was trying to get away from officers after a traffic stop on the Roosevelt Boulevard.
Officers say he led them onto the Schuylkill Expressway and the Blue Route before crashing near the intersection of West Germantown Pike and Chemical Road.
The biker barreled through a parking lot before ending up approximately 30 feet down a ravine.
He was transported to Paoli Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
He faces numerous motor vehicle violations.
