2 crashes at 1 intersection in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two separate accidents slowed traffic at one intersection in Southwest Philadelphia Monday morning.

Chopper 6 HD was over Bartram and Island Avenues.

Police say a vehicle collided with a tanker truck just after 6:00 a.m. Monday.

Minutes later, two other vehicles collided at the same intersection.

One person was injured and rushed to the hospital to be treated for back injuries.

There was no immediate word what led to either crash.
