WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A kitchen blaze forced several residents from an apartment building in West Philadelphia.
The fire broke out at 1:45 a.m. Friday in a high-rise apartment building in the 4400 block of Holden Street.
Fire crews arrived to find smoke showing from a unit on the 18th floor.
They located the fire in the kitchen area of one of the apartments.
Firefighters doused the flames and declared the fire under control within 20 minutes.
There were no reports of injuries.
