Tuned In to Fat City Reprise
October 13, 2007 The self-described longtime friends pull on their chemistry in the creation of great song writing and high-energy performances that bleed emotion.
Fat City's fans are reaping the benefits of music made strong through staple influences. The sounds of The Beatles, The Doors, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers linger in the melody strum by FCR.
They've opened for the Flaming Lips, De La Soul, and the Spin Doctors, as well as electrifying crowds at such venues as the Electric Factory, the Troc, the TLA, and the Borgata. Fat City has recently been in steady rotation on WMMR, WYSP and WXPN, providing exposure on 3 of the largest radio stations in Philadelphia.
The band's first full-length album, Fat City Reprise the LP is now available. The record's single "Cowgirl" has been a hit, reaching number 1 on the UK's unsigned artist charts.
Tuned In caught up with Fat City Reprise at Grape Street Pub in Manayunk. Check out an interview with the band plus performance video in our video center on the right side of the screen.
Now YOU are Tuned In to ... Fat City Reprise!
