Two Philadelphia Police officers were nearly run down in Southwest Philadelphia. Police say the driver was speeding and lost control while trying to make a turn.

The car ran up on the sidewalk in the 64-hundred block of Glenmore Avenue, where the two officers were investigating another case.

They jumped out of the way and the car crashed into a home.

Police say the driver then sped off, hitting two parked cars before overturning.

A woman inside the car told police the driver kidnapped her. Investigators say the two know each other and were involved in a domestic disturbance.

No one was seriously injured.
