Elvis has left the building -- in custody.

A Kentucky judge has ordered Elvis impersonator David Blaisdell to jail, for showing up for court drunk.

Blaisdell was wearing sunglasses and his Elvis get-up when was sentenced to three days in jail for contempt of court.

He had gone to court for a pretrial conference on misdemeanor charges of stalking and violating a protective order.

Blaisdell tells a local TV station that his legal run-in dressed as Elvis has gotten him more attention than anything else during his five years of impersonating the King.
