Coroner: Man on fire committed suicide

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - March 7, 2008 Police found 58-year-old David Burkhardt in the woods near a Bethlehem cemetery. Burkhardt told police he was jumped by three men who had set him on fire. He later died at a hospital from severe burns.

Coroner Scott Grim now says the death was a suicide. He says some of Burkhardt's clothes were found folded neatly by a gravestone, which he says an attacker wouldn't be likely to do.

Grim also says police have tracked down three people thought to be linked to Burkhardt's death. He says police determined they weren't connected.
