Texas ranch case moves to Appeals Court
AUSTIN (AP) - April 24, 2008 The Third Court of Appeals has set a hearing for April 29.
The mothers want the court to allow them to remain in contact
with their children while the children are in state custody.
Child welfare and law enforcement officials raided a ranch owned
by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
and took 437 children they believed might be victims of physical or
sexual abuse.
