ATLANTA (AP) - June 10, 2008

Dozens of Native Americans staged a rain dance on the steps of the Capitol in Atlanta yesterday.

The chanting and drum-pounding are aimed at bring some relief to the drought-stricken Southeast.

People from the Mohawk, Shoshone, Seneca and other tribes joined the in the vigil.

Gary Adler FourStar, one of the organizers, says while prayer may help, they're doing their talking to the natural world.
