Turkish media: hijack attempt foiled

ANKARA, Turkey - October 15, 2008 NTV television and Dogan news agency say the plane was on its way to St. Petersburg, Russia on Wednesday. NTV and Dogan cite unnamed Transportation Ministry sources as saying the hijack attempt was foiled.
