SEPTA is dropping the "R" designations and line numbers in favor of naming the rails with the destination names.
The changes also include the adoption of a single color destination, blue gray, for all regional rail lines.
Officials say the changes are to make the system easier to understand, for people who don't ride the Regional Rails on a regular basis.
