Windowizards says operations have resumed

LEVITTOWN, Pa. - December 20, 2010

A statement posted on the company's website, credited to chairman Harvey Goodman, reads "I want to reassure our customers, employees, and the public that Windowizards has not shut down our business."

The statement goes on to say that Windowizards suspended operations last week due to an "unanticipated interruption of windows from a major supplier."

"We intend to honor all commitments to our customers, installers, and employees," the statement went on to say.

It concludes by saying "We humbly ask everyone for forgiveness for fueling the impression that we were shutting our doors forever, especially during this holiday season."

The Bucks County Office of Consumer Protection confirmed the news on Monday, saying Harvey Goodman left the company to his son and moved to Florida but came back over the weekend to help reopen the business.

Concerned customers can contact Windowizards directly at 800-220-8707.
