Philadelphia police say an off-duty New Jersey corrections officer fatally shot a man outside a bar in the city's Juniata Park section.

The Action Cam was at the scene outside the Family Tavern on the 1100 block of Luzerne Street.

Police say a fight broke out inside the bar at 2:30 a.m. and then spilled out onto the street. That is where a man was shot.

The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The corrections officer was being questioned by police, but no charges have been filed. His name was not disclosed.

Officials are still investigating why the shooting happened. Early reports from witnesses indicate that the man who was killed fired shots at the corrections officer first.
