Police say three men wearing gold badges forced their way into a woman's home early Sunday.
She wasn't hurt.
Authorities say the real patrol officers became suspicious when they checked a car that was left with an open door.
Police say the suspects ran from the house when they saw the officers.
Two men now face charges of impersonating a police officer and other counts.
The third man was questioned and released.
