Police search for serial bank robber

Delaware State Police are asking for the public's help in finding a serial bank robber.

The latest robbery occurred at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the PNC Bank Branch located in the 5300 block of Limestone Road in Pike Creek.

The suspect entered the bank armed with a handgun wearing a Phillies t-shirt and a fake mustache and goatee.

The suspect then ordered several bank employees as well as customers to the ground. He then approached several bank tellers and demanded cash from their drawers.

The tellers complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect.

The suspect then fled and was last seen heading to the rear of the bank. There were no injuries.

Police believe he is linked to robberies going as far back as 2009.
