The fire was reported around 10:30 a.m. on the 100 block of Carlton Place.
The initial report indicated it was a car fire inside of a garage at that location. However, flames quickly spread to the house and the second alarm was struck around 10:45.
Everyone inside the home escaped without injury.
The fire was brought under control at noon. No word yet on what sparked the blaze.
