It was around 8:00 p.m. Sunday when someone opened fire on three men sitting in a vehicle parked on the 6200 block of Media Street.
Police arrived to learn that the victims had been transported to Lankenau Hospital by a private vehicle.
24-year-old Karon Bailey from the 5200 block of West Jefferson Street suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
A second 24-year-old male, identified by police as Basir Amaker from the 5600 block of Elliot Street, was shot in the chest.
The third victim, a 22-year-old male, was shot in the right thigh.
Bailey and Amaker later died from their injuries.
There is no word on a motive or any arrests at this time as police continue to investigate.
