PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Three men are being sought in connection with an armed home invasion robbery in Philadelphia.
The incident happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday on the 5600 block of Tulip Street in Bridesburg.
Police say the trio entered the home through a rear bedroom window.
After confronting the occupants of the home, the men managed to get an estimated $15,000 in cash before fleeing.
Police say the men fled in a red Ford Explorer.
The vehicle was discovered abandoned along the 3800 block of J Street in Juniata.
Police believed the men fled into a nearby home on the block.
After bringing in SWAT officers and a negotiator, police entered the home, but it was vacant.
The search for the three suspects continues.
