Mom says strangers constantly 'fat shame' her 8-month-old baby

One mom of a "chunky" 8-month-old baby took her disgust and sadness to a blog, slamming the dozens of people who have judged the size of her little girl.

Caroline Stanley says the first time it happened, she laughed.

But in the past few months, more than 50 people have called her baby mushy, huge, enormous, gigantic, and other insults.

She says some try to give her hope, assuring her that it will all fall off when she walks and that fat babies don't always make fat adults.

Caroline says she's struggled with her weight her whole life and urges people to think before they speak, saying body image issues should not start at infancy.

She is also thankful that her daughter is too young to understand what they are saying.
