Backpack containing gun stolen from Kensington restaurant

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- East Detectives are searching for the woman who stole a backpack containing a gun from a Kensington restaurant.

It happened Sunday afternoon inside Cantina dos Segundos on the 900 block of North 2nd Street at 3:30 p.m.

Surveillance video shows the suspect eating outside with a male companion.

She then went inside the restaurant, grabbed a red backpack from the back of a chair, went back outside and sat down at her table.

The suspect went through the backpack.

Inside was a Ruger LCP semiautomatic .380 loaded with five rounds, house and car keys, knife and reading glasses.

After a few minutes, the suspect and her companion left the restaurant.
