2-alarm house fire in Bala Cynwyd

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Crews were called to battle a fire at a home in Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 100 block of David Road.

Heavy smoke was showing from the one story house upon arrival and a second alarm was soon struck.

It took crews about a half hour to bring the blaze under control.

Fortunately there were no injuries.

No word what sparked the blaze.
