The FBI is investigating an attempted firebombing at the office of a district judge in bangor, Northampton County.

BANGOR, Pa. (WPVI) -- The FBI is investigating an attempted firebombing at the office of a district judge in Bangor, Northampton County.

Courtroom staff for Sherwood Grigg called 911 when they smelled gasoline Wednesday morning.

Police arrived to find shattered glass and material that appeared consistent with a homemade explosive device.

The device did not detonate.

No one was hurt.
