FBI, police search for Center City bank robber

The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are looking for a suspect who robbed a Center City bank Wednesday morning.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are looking for a suspect who robbed a Center City bank Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at the Citizens Bank branch located at on the 1200 block of Market Street.

Authorities say the suspect walked into the bank just after 11 a.m. and handed the teller a threatening demand note.

He got away with an unknown amount of cash before fleeing on foot towards 12th Street.

The suspect is described as a white male, 48-50 years-old, 5'0' tall, balding with a thin build and a gray goatee. He was wearing a green jacket with a dark blue collar and white stripes on the sleeve, and wore eyeglasses.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
