Woman seriously hurt after being struck by vehicle in Bear, Del.

BEAR, Del. (WPVI) -- A woman was seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle in Bear, Del.

It happened around 8 p.m. Friday on Route 40 eastbound near Church Road.

Police say a woman in her 40s was struck by a vehicle, which did stop.

The woman was taken to Christiana Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No word on arrests.
