SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Three dogs were killed by bees from a neighboring home in Santa Ana, California on Wednesday, police said.
Authorities responded to the 2200 block of North Olive Street. Upon arrival, animal service officers noticed the bees were coming from an adjoining property.
A bee specialist was called and found the hive in a shed at the back of the property. Arrangements were made to remove the hive.
Dogs, Bartlett, 11, Remy, 2, and Bailey, 9, died during the attack.
