Bicyclist struck and injured in Bensalem

BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police and medics are on the scene where a bicyclist has been struck and injured by a vehicle in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

The crash happened after 9:30 a.m. Friday on the 2200 block of Street Road in front of the Armstrong Middle School.

The victim was taken to an area trauma center in critical condition.

Police say the driver did stop and is cooperating with them.

The road remains blocked while police continue their investigation.
