Brad Pitt helps young fan in rowdy crowd

CANARY ISLANDS (WPVI) -- Brad Pitt plays a hero in the movies, and in real life.

While filming the drama "Allied" in Spain's Canary Islands, the 52-year-old star took a break to say hello to fans.

As he was waving to the crowd, he noticed a girl being pushed up against a fence.

He rushed over to help her.

Pitt and his two bodyguards grabbed the girl, and lifted her over the fence.

The actor comforted her by rubbing her neck and back until medics arrived.
