Men posing as Philadelphia Water Department workers burglarize home

TORRESDALE (WPVI) -- A witness tells police two men posing as Philadelphia Water Department workers burglarized a home in the Torresdale section.

Police were called to the 3800 block of Linden Avenue at 11:50 Monday morning.

A neighbor told police the elderly resident answered the front door.

While speaking to the alleged PWD worker, a second man broke into the house from the back and burglarized the second floor of the home.

The homeowner was not hurt.

The search continues for the two burglars.
