Man, 73, killed after being run over by tractor on N.J. farm

TABERNACLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A 73-year-old man was killed after being run over by a tractor on a farm in Burlington County.

Police have identified the victim as Anthony Russo.

It happened around 2 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of Carranza Road in Tabernacle, New Jersey.

Russo was rushed to Virtua Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Russo was well known, and typically sold 100,000 cases of corn a year.

Police say the tractor, operated by Russo, was pulling seeding equipment when the accident occurred.
