Driver injured after car hits ice and crashes in Bustleton

BUSTLETON -- A driver was injured after hitting an ice patch and crashing in Philadelphia's Bustleton section early Friday morning.

The accident happened around 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of Verree Road and Bloomfield Avenue.

Police say after the driver struck the ice, he lost control and rolled over.

The victim was taken to the hospital with various injuries.

He is listed in stable condition.
