TOWAMENCIN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A car flipped over and struck a toll booth Friday after a crash on a Northeast Extension ramp.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the Lansdale interchange in Towamencin Township.
The view from Chopper 6 showed emergency crews working to free a man trapped in the overturned car.
The man was finally freed after 35 minutes, rescuers say. He was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be nonlife-threatening injuries.
No one else was hurt.
There was no immediate word on how the crash happened.
