September 18th is National Cheeseburger Day!
There have been many theories as to how the cheeseburger got it's start. Some of which date back to the 1920s. One theory suggests that 16-year-old Lionel Sternberger created the cheeseburger in Pasadena, California.
Now, Americans enjoy 50 billion burgers (cheese and otherwise) each year!
