Cherry Hill launches new emergency notification system

People who live and work in Cherry Hill can sign up to receive emails and text messages for a variety of emergencies, including natural disasters and hazmat leaks.

CHERRY HILL (WPVI) -- Residents in Cherry Hill, New Jersey can now be in the know when disaster strikes.



The township has launched a CodeRED Emergency Notification System.



People who live and work in Cherry Hill can sign up to receive emails and text messages for a variety of emergencies, including natural disasters and hazmat leaks.



They'll also receive weather and traffic alerts.
