A college student survived being stranded in the Arizona desert for five days.
Amber VanHecke was sightseeing when she says her Google Maps app sent her down a road that doesn't exist.
Her car ran out of gas and she did not have cell phone service.
She made a series of goodbye videos just in case, and a help sign out of rocks.
On the fourth day, she walked 11 miles to find a cell signal and called 911.
She walked the 11 miles back to her car and, the next day, a rescue crew found her help sign.
She was treated for exposure and dehydration.
A day later, she was back to sightseeing.
Fortunately she was a Girl Scout and was prepared with food and water.
