3rd Graders Reap What They Have Sown

SEWELL. N,J, (WPVI) -- Rising third graders from Washington Township got to see the fruits of their labor Wednesday.

They visited Duffield's in Sewell to harvest close to 6,000 pounds of green and yellow squash.

The students helped plant the seeds back in May.

The fresh produce they helped grow, will be donated to soup kitchens and food banks in the South Jersey area.
