High school students learn the history of hate

WYNNEFIELD (WPVI) -- Hundreds of local high school students took part in an important program Tuesday at Saint Joseph's University designed to combat hate.

Holocaust survivor Henri Parens was one of 12 survivors to speak to the youngsters.

Dr. Parens escaped from Nazi occupied Europe when he was 11 years old.

His parents and other family members were executed in concentration camps.
