New Castle County Police hold Police and Princess Ball

CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- It was a magical night for dozens of little girls in New Castle County.

The Police and Princess Ball, hosted by the New Castle County Police Department, took place Friday.

The girls in grades Kindergarten through 6th, got all dressed up and rode in a limousine to a dance at the Waterfall Banquet Center in Claymont.

The dance is part of the police department's community outreach efforts.
