WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man they say is behind three robberies in West Philadelphia.

Between Aug. 20 and Aug. 24, the suspect was caught on camera at Rite Aid stores on the 5200 and 5600 blocks of Baltimore Avenue.

Police said each time the suspect announced the robbery giving the appearance of a weapon in his sweatshirt pocket.

No one has been injured in the robberies, but police say it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

"Either he's going to get hurt, a poor clerk is going to get hurt. Let's nip it in the bud, let's pick up the phone and identify this individual," said Santo Montecalvo with the Citizens Crime Commission.

Police describe the suspect as a 20-year-old black male, weighing about 150 lbs. with a dark complexion and acne.

During the robberies, the suspect wears sunglasses, grey khaki shorts and a sweatshirt, police said.

He fled two of the robberies on a dark-colored mountain bike, police said.

Montecalvo said Rite Aid is offering a reward of $10,000 for the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
