Weeks after a woman allegedly stole thousands of dollars from them, a Montgomery County Cub Scout pack received a much needed donation.

UPPER PROVIDENCE TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Weeks after a woman allegedly stole thousands of dollars from them, a Montgomery County Cub Scout pack received a much needed donation.

Pack 27 received a check for $2,558 on Wednesday in Oaks, Pa.

Police arrested Heather Belford last month for stealing nearly $10,000 in total from Pack 27 and Girl Scout Troop 7343.

Josh Skolnick is the owner of Monster Tree Service and is an Eagle Scout.

He says he heard about the theft and wanted replace the stolen money.

Meanwhile Belford has been charged with multiple counts of theft and related offenses. She was released last month on $5,000 unsecured bail.

The district attorney's office will seek restitution.
