Del. teen raises funds to buy jerseys for team

DELAWARE CITY, Del. (WPVI) -- A 17-year-old from Delaware City is stepping up to help less fortunate youngsters in his community.

Robert Rynkowski raised more than $900 to start a basketball camp for the kids who attend the local Police Athletic League.

Robert started the camp as his senior project after learning student athletes have higher graduation rates.

But he kept it going after the project was over.

Robert now hopes to expand his camp throughout the state.
