New park coming to New Castle County

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- For the first time in 15 years a new park is being built in New Castle County.

Action News was there Thursday as county leaders showed off the plans for the new Edgemoor Gardens Park, off of South Cannon Drive.

The one-acre park will feature a basketball court, a playground and a paved walking trail.

Construction should be complete by the fall.
