PENN'S LANDING (WPVI) -- A 34-year-old woman had to be rescued after falling in the Delaware River early Saturday morning.
Officials say the woman fell into the river around 4:00 a.m. near Market Street in Penn's Landing.
Police and firefighters responded to the area and launched a fire boat to begin searching for the victim.
The Coast Guard also assisted in the search.
So far, police have not released the circumstances of how the woman fell into the river.
The victim was taken to Hahnemann Hospital for evaluation. She was not injured and is expected to be okay.
