PHOTOS: Dinosaurs of the Deep invade Adventure Aquarium At Adventure Aquarium's Dinosaurs of the Deep exhibit, visitors can come face-to-face with more than 20 prehistoric marine reptiles.

CAMDEN, NJ (WPVI) -- What was the sea like during prehistoric days? Well, now you can find out during the Dinosaurs of the Deep exhibit at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey.



The aquarium calls it "an immersive, larger-than-life experience that will bring you face-to-face with more than 20 monsters of the deep."



Plesiosaurus is a small headed marine reptile known for his long and slender necked, broad turtle-like body, short tail and two pairs of large, elongated paddles.


Visitors of the exhibit will see life-size replicas including a 42-foot Elasmosaurus...



Known for its extremely long neck the Elasmosaurus was a massive creature, about 46 feet in length and weighing in at over 2.2 tons.


and a 34-foot Liopleurodon whose teeth were 4 inches long!



Liopleurodon is a short-necked plesioaur with a massive head from the mid-Jurassic, early Cretaceous period.
