CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Surfing is not an easy sport to master, but this furry athlete shows off his skills with ease.

Ruca the dog went surfing for the first time recently when his owner took him out on the water in Terra Mar in Southern California.

Like most first time surfers, Ruca was a bit wobbly at first, but seemed to master the waves in no time.

After a long day of hanging ten, this dog deserves a treat!
