Suspect sought in robbery at North Philadelphia store

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a robbery at a Family Dollar store in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the suspect entered the store and tried to take an entire cash register.

When that didn't work, police say the suspect took the money tray and ran away.

No injuries were reported.

The amount of money the suspect got away with is unknown.
