A police officer on Long Island saved the life of a baby boy. But the humble officer is giving all the credit to the baby's 8-year-old sister who called 911.

The second grader just home from school, and made the call for her frantic parents who don't speak English.

She calmly recited their address and phone number to the operator.

Officer Kristian Lorusso of the Southampton Police department arrived at the scene first and was told the baby had a seizure.

He said, "I started with CPR, three cycles of that, a couple more smacks on the back and then I heard the greatest thing I ever heard, other than my own kids being born, this baby crying."

Officers say the 8-year-old's composure helped them save her baby brother.
