Shots fired in Camden, female victim taken to hospital

CAMDEN, New Jersey (WPVI) -- One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Camden, New Jersey.

It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday on the 1500 block of Pershing Street.

Police said a female victim was shot in the stomach.

She was taken by Camden County police to Cooper University Hospital in serious condition.

There is no word on an arrest or motive.
