The P.F. Chang's restaurant chain has identified the 33 locations involved in a data breach, and three of those restaurants are located in our area.
The company confirmed in June that data from credit and debit cards used at its restaurants was stolen, but didn't specify the locations at that time.
On Monday, the list of locations was released and the dates in which the data was compromised. In our area, the restaurants impacted were:
-10 Providence Town Center in Collegeville, Pa.
Dates compromised: 10/19/2013 - 6/11/2014
-983 Baltimore Pike in Glen Mills, Pa.
Dates compromised: 4/10/2014 - 6/11/2014
-3545 US Highway 1 in Princeton, New Jersey
Dates compromised: 2/21/2014 - 6/11/2014
The rest of the locations can be found at PFChangs.com/Security
The company said that potentially stolen data includes the card number and may also include the cardholder's name and/or the card's expiration date in some instances.
P.F. Chang's went on to say the security compromise has been contained and that it has been processing credit and debit card data securely since June 11.
The restaurant operator noted that as the investigation continues it may identify other locations where data may have been compromised or other date ranges.
