NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A quick-thinking neighbor helped save a family from a fast-moving fire in North Philadelphia.
It broke out at 2:00 a.m. Monday in the 2600 block of North 18th Street.
A neighbor smelled smoke, saw the house was on fire and helped a man and woman inside escape.
Firefighters had the blaze under control within 20 minutes.
A young boy suffered smoke inhalation and needed oxygen at the scene.
There was no immediate word what sparked the blaze.
